By nationality Latvian, with great passion for music, in 2012 I gained my BMus at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester and in 2013 my Masters in Music at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. I have performed extensively both in the UK and Latvia as soloist and accompanist.  I have been lucky enough to win a few competitions, among them 1st Prize in the Giuseppe Terraciano piano competition in Salerno, Italy in 2007 and First Prize in the Piano Recital Prize at the Royal Northern College of Music in 2011. From 2008 to July 2016 I lived and performed in London, organising musical events and also tutoring students for the Associated Board examinations and music in general. Studying and teaching in the UK for the last 8 years has helped me with my English and taught me a great deal when it comes to education.

Art is not a handicraft, it is the transmission of feeling the artist has experienced.
