English Language and Literature Teacher

I will be teaching English Language and Literature (Gr6, Gr7 and Gr8), IGCSE Literature in English (Gr9). This will be my 3rd academic year at EIS.

  • IB Diploma (IBDP) - ISL (Latvia);
  • Baltic International Academy (Latvia) - Prof. B.A. in Translation and Interpreting (Modern Languages);
  • University of Alicante (Spain) - fac. Estudios Ingleses, Erasmus+;
  • Université Bordeaux-Montaigne (France) - fac. Langues Étrangères Appliquées (LEA), Erasmus+;
  • University of Latvia - Teaching Certificate (Latvia);
  • Oxford Brookes University (UK) - M.A. in Education and TESOL (Multilingual Learners);
  • PEaCH Project Ambassador and IATEFL member.
  • Before EIS I was working at:

  • Latvian Academy of Sciences (Latvia);
  • Malmö, Sweden (internship).
  • I am proud of the way my students adapted to distance learning, persevered with their studies and maintained positive attitudes last year.

    After work I like to play the piano, relax outside or spend time with my family and friends.

    To get up in the morning and go to school I tell myself that I am ready to face the day ahead.

    When I was a child I wanted to become a panda caretaker in China.

    I am learning from kids be active, authentic, and dream big.
