Congratulations to the students who took part in the the Olympiads!

Throughout the year, our students demonstrated their learning and skills by participating in various Olympiads across Latvia. We were thrilled to see how much dedication and passion our students poured into these events, not to mention how well they performed in these endeavors. Although our academic community may not be the largest one in the country, our students excelled in their respective categories and truly put EIS on the map for Olympiad participation. Now, in the final stretches of the year, we'd like to extend our congratulations to the students who took part in these events, and to the teachers who prepared them. Our Olympiad diploma recipients consisted of:

  • Mikhail K from Grade 9, who reached the second round of the 70th Olympiad in Physics;
  • Aylar S from Grade 9, who received third place in the 50th French Language Olympiad for Grades 5-12;
  • Karina P from Grade 8, who took part in the 50th French Language Olympiad for Grades 5-12;
  • Jacob S from Grade 7, who reached the second round of the Russian Language Olympiad "Expressive Speech";
  • and Kristina M from Grade 6, who participated in the 50th French Language Olympiad for Grades 5-12.

Among staff members, we owe our thanks to three teachers. Ekaterina Pavlova prepared students for the Russian Language Olympiad, Sergey Bratarcuk prepared students for the Physics Olympiad, and Jelena Jesajana prepared students for the French Language Olympiad.

We're truly honored to have such a vibrant, ambitious community that emphasizes personal development and taking risks. We hope that School Year 2020-2021 will bring about new challenges and opportunities to shine!
