Our Grade 11 student Giorgia was accepted into Harvard Summer School

Our Grade 11 student Giorgia was accepted into Harvard Summer School — a seven-week academic program offering college courses in various fields.

Giorgia chose economics and shared insight on her decision, "I'm thinking about studying at US or UK universities because I like how the courses are set up there. Unlike many other universities, the first year isn't very busy so it's a great chance for students to be engaged in extracurricular activities and projects to discover their true passion and then choose a narrower field."

Since Giorgia didn't have much experience in economics, she thought it would be a great chance to learn more about it and think of choosing related subjects when applying to university. She is also considering pursuing a double major, as she has long been interested in filmmaking and wanted to explore other areas she might enjoy.
