EIS shines the UKMT Math Competition!

A big congratulations to our G11 students Arseniy, Mati and Angelos, for their Silver medals, and to Suhani and Sofja for their Bronze. In G12, Aleksandrs brought home Silver, while Ke Li, Nelli, and Vejas earned Bronze. Great job, everyone!

"As a school, we believe it’s important to provide opportunities for our students to participate in mathematical events that foster both logical and creative thinking. The Olympiads and UKMT maths challenges do just that, as they require students to think 'outside the box' and apply mathematics in creative ways to solve these challenging problems," says our Head of Mathematics & Science Department and IB Mathematics Teacher, Zane Latve.

Let’s give a huge round of applause to Ms Zane and our amazing Math teachers, who have dedicated their time and expertise to supporting our students. We’re already looking forward to the next UKMT round for G8–G10 and the junior round for G6–G7. Good luck!
