Summer is a time of freedom and exploration for children — and increasingly, much of that exploration takes place online. As school takes a break, screen time often increases, raising questions and concerns for many families:

How do we keep our children safe on the internet?

What are the real risks they face — and how can we recognize the warning signs?

With more time spent on devices, children are exposed not only to entertainment and social interaction but also to potential dangers such as cyberbullying, inappropriate content, and even harmful communication. As parents, it can be hard to know when to step in — and how.

This lecture is designed to help! Join us to learn:
How to set boundaries and manage screen time effectively;
What warning signs may indicate serious online threats, including sexting and cyberbullying;
Real-life examples of online risks children have faced — and what we can learn from them;
Ways to build open communication and digital trust with your child;
How to balance digital freedom with emotional safety.
The session will be led by Nils Konstantinovs, a child and adolescent psychotherapist, expert in medical psychology, member of the British Psychological Association, and IB Psychology Teacher and Counselor at Exupery International School.
