Alina Jeremenko

Head of Middle & High School
I am extremely proud of the moments when students challenge my thinking, not because they want to be right—but because they’ve learned to think deeply, feel confidently, and speak up respectfully. Those moments remind me why I chose this path.
After work I like to wander—through pages of a good book, along forest trails, or through odd corners of YouTube rabbit holes about things like medieval engineering or jazz improvisation. Curiosity doesn’t clock out at 5.
To get up in the morning and go to school I tell myself: You’re about to step into a building full of people who might surprise you, frustrate you, make you laugh, or teach you something you didn’t expect. Show up fully.
When I was a child, I wanted to become a scientist, a novelist, or a detective—someone who gets to ask difficult questions and chase the answers. In a way, I still do.

I am learning from kids that authenticity always wins. They spot insincerity faster than adults, and they aren’t afraid to ask “why?” when the rest of us have stopped asking.

The school of the future is less about rows and grades, and more about curiosity, human connection, and purpose. It's a place where students don’t just learn how the world works—but how they can shape it.
