I am a primary school homeroom teacher.

Qualifications:
Before joining EIS, I worked at the Limestone District School Board in Kingston, Canada, as a French Immersion teacher.
I graduated from Queen's University in Kingston, Canada, with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology, Biology and French Language, and a Bachelor of Education.
I am proud that I moved across the world on my own to pursue my longtime dream of teaching at an international school.

After work, I like to spend time outdoors and in nature—especially downhill skiing in the winter, biking, hiking, and horseback riding in the summer.

Getting out of bed is the hardest part (especially on those dark mornings in the winter months!), but once I get there, I am always happy to see my students and colleagues.
When I was a child, I wanted to become a teacher—I used to play school with my stuffed animals and dreamed of the day I could have a real classroom of my own!

I’m constantly learning from kids that it's okay to make mistakes and to ask for help when I need it.

The school of the future is inclusive, promoting and celebrating diversity. It focuses on applying knowledge and cultivating transdisciplinary skills such as critical and creative thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork, which are crucial for success in life regardless of one’s path or profession.
