I am an English Support and Latvian Studies Teacher, a Middle and High school librarian.

Qualifications:
Before joining EIS, I worked at the International School of Riga.
Postgraduate Certificate in Education (International) - University of Keele, UK;
Masters in Social Anthropology - University of Berne, Switzerland.
I am proud of all my students—past, present, and future—each bringing a unique personality to the classroom. I’m equally proud of every reader who engages in thoughtful discussions with their peers. Above all, I’m proud of my three sons, who are growing up in a bilingual family and embracing the richness of languages and cultures.

After work, I like to immerse myself in nature—whether it's gardening, mushroom picking, or trekking.
To get up in the morning and go to school, I remind myself how lucky I am to be living my dream job.

When I was a child, I wanted to become a music teacher.

I am learning from children and young people that each person has their own unique qualities.

The school of the future is built on community, collaboration, and the intelligent use of technology.
