State Education Quality Service – Chief Inspector;
Riga Zolitude Grammar School – English teacher and class leader;
Association “Vecāki ģimnāzistiem” – German teacher.

Before joining EIS, I worked at:

University of Latvia – German teacher qualification;
Riga Teacher Training and Education Management Academy – Master’s degree in School Management;
Business College of Latvia – Lawyer Assistant diploma;
Riga Teacher Training and Education Management Academy – Bachelor’s degree in School Management and an English teacher qualification.

I am proud to be the mum of two incredible girls, each with such distinct personalities. They teach me so much every single day.

After work, I like to spend time with my family. We like going out, taking small trips, and travelling.

To get up in the morning and go to school, I tell myself: "I love my job!"

When I was a child I wanted to become a teacher and a lawyer.

I am learning everything from kids. They often reflect back to us, especially in areas where we need to grow. The greatest lesson I’ve gained—both from working with kids and being a mum—is patience.

The school of the future is child-centered, inclusive, focused on developing soft skills, and designed to motivate and engage students.
