I am teaching Grade 10 Mathematics as well as the AA (Analysis and Approaches) Mathematics course for grade 11 and 12 in the Diploma Programme; I also serve as a Head of the Mathematics & Computer Science Department.
Before joining EIS, I worked at Yokohama International School in Japan, and prior to that at the International School of Phnom Penh in Cambodia.
I am a graduate from the University of Latvia with a Master degree of Natural Sciences in Mathematics.
I am proud of my students for continually growing into the people they aspire to be.
After work I like to spend the time with my kids and enjoy nature.
To get up in the morning and go to school I tell myself... I get to do what I love most—teach mathematics all day long!
When I was a child I wanted to become... many different things, including a doctor, a lawyer, and a teacher.
I am learning from kids that change is possible and there’s so much hope for the future.
The school of the future is open, inclusive, and supportive; it focuses on each individual’s growth in the way they need.
