Talk to our Preschool Principal
As part of the Trial Day, parents will have the opportunity to have a 30-minute individual conversation with Julija Kovalova, our Preschool Principal and an experienced early childhood educator.
You can ask questions about preschool readiness, adaptation, preparing your child for preschool, social and emotional development, daily routines — or simply share the concerns that are on your mind.
With many years of experience in early childhood education and leadership, Julija understands that starting preschool is a big transition not only for the child, but for the whole family. And, as a mother of two, she knows that sometimes parents need not another brochure, but simply someone experienced to talk to.
You can ask questions about preschool readiness, adaptation, preparing your child for preschool, social and emotional development, daily routines — or simply share the concerns that are on your mind.

MealsDuring the Trial Day, we offer children light fruit snacks. Please inform us in advance about any allergies or dietary restrictions. -
What to bring- Comfortable indoor clothes
- Outdoor clothes appropriate for the weather
- Non-slip indoor shoes or sandals
- Diapers, if applicable
- For younger children: a pacifier, favourite toy or comfort blanket, if needed.

Of course! Our free Trial Day gives you and your child a chance to get to know our preschool, meet the teachers and experience the atmosphere before making your decision.
That's perfectly natural. Every child is different, and some need more time to feel comfortable in unfamiliar surroundings. Our teachers will gently support your child throughout the Trial Day. We will stay in touch with you and keep you updated on how your child is doing. If needed, the visit can be shortened to suit your child's individual needs. Afterwards, you'll have the opportunity to discuss your child's experience and any concerns with our Preschool Principal.
During the Trial Day, children spend time with our teachers and take part in activities without their parents in the classroom. We understand that this may be a big step, especially if it's your child's first preschool experience. Our caring teachers will be there to welcome your child, help them feel comfortable and support them throughout the visit.
Absolutely! As part of your visit, you'll have a 30-minute individual conversation with our Preschool Principal, Julija Kovalova. You can ask about your child's readiness, settling in, daily routines or anything else that's on your mind.
English is the main language of communication at Exupery Preschool, including during the Trial Day. However, our staff also speak Latvian, Russian, and several other languages, so they can help children feel comfortable and understood, even if English is new to them.
