We encourage independent and gifted high school learners from all over the world to apply for EIS scholarship competition. By continuing your education with us, you will thrive in an international environment, pursue your passions, and prepare for entry into the best universities in the world.

Our scholarship recipients have come from Brazil, China, Georgia, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Malta, Russia and Ukraine. They are both day and boarding students. Their scholarships have allowed them to engage in various scientific and research projects, as well as arts and humanities, sports and many other fields. The IB Diploma Programme has encouraged their academic growth, rewarded their hard work, and gave them an excellent chance to be admitted to the most prestigious universities worldwide.

EIS offers up to five scholarships, covering up to 100% of the fees for day and boarding students at EIS for 2026/27 entry to EIS.

Scholarship Competition Process

Parents should submit an Application form at https://exupery.lv/enquiry and provide supporting documents to EIS admissions. All supporting documents must be provided within the online application before the application deadline on February 28, 2026:

Academic transcript from the current school for the last two years (provided in English or Latvian);
Online High school questionary completed by the applicant (link available at the applicant profile after submitting the application form);
Certificates of achievements for the last two years.

The scholarship committee will review all completed applications and keep applicants informed about next steps as well as the individual results of the competition.

Selected applicants should be ready to participate in online English and academic assessment tests and interviews with the EIS Scholarship Committee online or on campus, scheduled in March 2026. All international applicants applying from outside of Latvia will be invited for the online tests and interviews. Applicants applying from Latvia will be invited for assessment on the EIS Campus.

The amount of each scholarship may vary and will cover up to 100% of the EIS yearly fees for day or boarding for the 2026/27 Academic Year. The scholarship will cover a major part of tuition or boarding fees, but will not cover expenses for food or the school deposit, or any extra expenses such as exam fees, travel, visa applications, etc. A full breakdown of EIS fees can be found here: https://exupery.lv/admission#financial

Please note that boarding students from outside will need to apply for a visa or residence permit. Please take into consideration that obtaining visas and /or permits is the responsibility of the applicant’s family.

Our scholarship graduates

Our scholarship holders graduated with outstanding results:

While the entire graduating class of 2023 surpassed the world average at the IB DP exams, one of the scholarship recipients had achieved perfect IB DP exam score of 45.
One of the EIS graduates was accepted to Williams College, ranking #1 among the best National Liberal Arts Colleges in the US.
Another graduate won a silver medal at the 16th International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics. This achievement also marked her final school Olympiad before she embarked on her studies at École Polytechnique in Paris.

Also, when I was on the waiting list I didn’t give up – and actively participated in Exupery Summer Camp and the Latvian Studies Olympiad and even got an award from the Latvian Ministry of Education.

Kristians has always been passionate about theatre and storytelling — about the power of voice, vision, and expression to connect people. Yet alongside this love, he developed a deep interest in understanding the human mind and behavior. Now, with his acceptance to Regent’s University London to study Psychology, Kristians is taking the next step — combining his creativity with a desire to gain practical knowledge that can open many paths for the future. And his advice to the next generation of EIS students? “Listen to Miss Fleur — and whatever you do, don’t upset Mr. Stephen,” he says!

Vlada Elīza is passionate about creating things that serve humanity — bridges, roads, and real-world systems — and dreams of seeing her ideas brought to life.
She has been accepted to Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen to study Mechanical Engineering, a field that will challenge her creativity and technical skills in equal measure. To the next generation of EIS students, Vlada Elīza offers this honest advice: don’t choose subjects just because you like them — think about whether you can actually pass them. A subject must be studied with intention, not taken for granted.

The scholarship for me was an encouraging step in bold undertakings that seemed impossible at first sight. This is what makes Exupery different from other schools. The curriculum and study plan are built in such a way that I don’t have to make a tough choice between the Olympiads I want to take part in because there is time for everything I’m interested in. I am happy that my dream of becoming an astronomer is coming true.
