Discover how the Exupery International Preschool program enables children to recognize and express emotions, overcome challenges, achieve goals, and engage successfully with peers and adults.

At Exupery International Preschool, we will hold an open session on September 9 at 11 am and 2.30 pm for children ages 1,5 to 6* to introduce them to the Emotional Intelligence Development program.

A high level of emotional intelligence empowers children to better identify and manage their emotions, foster positive relationships with those around them, constructively handle complex situations, set and strive for goals, and make responsible decisions.

Emotional intelligence is best nurtured in the preschool years, and its impact carries on into adulthood.

During our open session, guided by our teacher, children will become familiar with Kimochi toys — an essential part of the emotional intelligence development approach. They'll also learn about Kimochi toys' unique qualities, explore a wide range of emotions, practice recognizing them, and gain insight into interacting with those around them.

Parents will also have a chance to delve into the core principles of the methodology, gain insights for boosting emotional intelligence, and ask any questions they might have.

The session will be guided by the Head of Exupery International Preschool and an expert in developing emotional intelligence, Julija Kovalova.

Fostering emotional intelligence is a crucial aspect of the educational journey at Exupery International Preschool. This stage is a pivotal time when children begin to experience and become familiar with a wide range of emotions and find ways to express and manage their feelings. It's vital to understand the importance of negative emotions — such as anger, frustration, irritation, sadness, and discontent — and to know how to express them in a healthy way.

This skill helps create a positive outlook and tackle challenging tasks both during the school years and in adult life. Early education builds the foundation for knowledge and skills, allowing children to communicate effectively with peers and teachers, leading to better academic results. Emotional intelligence is what lets us build long-lasting, strong relationships in business, work, and family, by understanding and handling emotions in different situations, whether it's at work, within teams, or children's upbringing.

Following the session, Julia will guide a tour of Exupery International Preschool. Additionally, all attendees will enjoy delicious (yet not sugary) snacks.

*The session fee is 10 euros. Once you've registered, we'll send you a payment link.

We had to close the registration for 11:00 group – we wanted to keep the group small enough so that the workshop is still efficient. However, due to demand we’ve opened another group. You are welcome to join us as a part of the second group @14:30.
