Students in Grades 11 and 12 can choose a prestigious study path that best suits their future plans. We are authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).
2. Pastoral Care
Our professional staff, cater for the well-being of each individual student through a carefully planned pastoral care program. There are staff on hand 24 hours a day, during the week and also weekends to ensure the borders have the support and care they need. The EIS teachers and Bording house staff are experts in their field. They are passionate about their subjects and are committed to inspiring each student in their care to excel and grow as internationally minded individuals. Our aim is to nurture and develop the talents and skills of our students so they can flourish physically, intellectually, emotionally, and ethically.
Boarders are housed in our main campus in the central Boarding House attached to the secondary school building. Boarders have access to a range of facilities including a large library, student lounge, laundry facilities, and gymnasium.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the Boarding House.
Our boarding facilities are spread over three floors and comprise of ensuite rooms for 2 or 3 students. Every room is equipped with comfortable beds, an individual study area, a personal wardrobe for clothes and other belongings, as well as, an ensuite bathroom area with a shower.
4. Community life
EIS boarding school attracts students from around the world as well as locally. This provides students with a wonderful opportunity to interact with students of different nationalities. At EIS we celebrate each student’s cultural heritage. We appreciate the importance of friendship and know that the diverse experiences we provide will foster strong relationships. During your child’s stay, they will have many opportunities to build strong friendships that will continue beyond the walls of the classroom. They will form close bonds and build a network of international connections across the globe. In this way, community life goes beyond just academic success.
5. Technology and work spaces
Our Senior School building joined the existing EIS campus in 2021. It contains cutting-edge technical equipment, laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, modern Computer and Robotics classes, and a DT lab. Modern technologies are integrated into the daily life of Exupery International School: The school is equipped with 3D printers, a VR- zone, 3D-monitors, iMac and, Windows- classrooms, Interactive smartboards; everything you could need to create digital products.
Healthy food is part of any well-balanced day. Here at EIS we are fortunate to have a dedicated kitchen staff managed by the local award-winning restaurant “36. Line.” They provide breakfast, lunch and two snacks, daily. Lunch offers a selection of soups, main courses, and salads, prepared onsite.
During evening mealtimes, the entire boarding family – students and mentors - come together; family style. This is an opportunity for students to engage with their fellow boarders, catch up with each other, discuss the events of the day, support each other, share stories, and enjoy each other's company.
7. Afterschool activities and sports
After-School Activities (ASA) at EIS are designed to integrate productivity with joyful exploration and memorable, hands-on experiences. The school offers a choice of almost 40 different After School Activities (ASA) in such areas as: STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), Digital Literacy, Sport and, Fine Arts. There are also several ASA clubs dedicated to the development of softs skills, such as Debate Club. Students can also learn new languages or have extra classes in subject areas of interested, for example Chemistry or Mathematics.
EIS boarding students are also welcome to use the school gym for sports and other physical activities in the evenings and on the weekends.
