At EIS we offer a range of boarding options for students from 14 years of age including full-time, weekly, or daily boarding.

We are a rare school with the word "Happy" in its mission! An essential part of our mission is ensuring that our staff and students feel happy at EIS and beyond our school. We believe that in addition to effective school programs and procedures, the actual environment greatly impacts learning and well-being. Therefore, we pay attention to details that make EIS a welcoming and happy place. We purposefully designed our facilities to be modern, comfortable and light, and we have even hired a team from one of the top local restaurants to cook healthy and delicious meals for us.

We have made our school and the boarding house a true "home away from home". Our family-style atmosphere allows boarders to settle in quickly as we pursue an intricate and carefully designed balance between academic rigour and well-being, following directions and engaging in democratic decision-making, purposeful effort and fun. Boarders are housed on our campus, and our Boarding House is a part of the High School building, so boarders can access the school directly without needing to go outside. Our boarding facilities comprise ensuite rooms that house 1 to 3 students, with a total capacity of 90 students aged between 14 and 19.

The boarding house has a range of boarding options available including full-time, weekly, or daily boarding. Every room is equipped with comfortable beds, an individual study area, a personal wardrobe for clothes and other belongings, and an ensuite bathroom area with a shower. Each floor has a comfortable and spacious Lounge Room with a kitchen and living room area and a fully equipped Laundry Room. Boarders can access various facilities, including an extensive library, student lounge, laundry, and gymnasium. Wi-Fi is available throughout the Boarding House.

Our professional staff caters to the well-being of each student through a carefully planned pastoral care program. Our qualified and trained boarding staff is on duty 24 hours a day, during the week and on weekends, to ensure the borders have the support and care they need. In addition to the care provided by the boarding staff, there is a Security Guard on duty at all times, an English language learners Support, a dedicated School Psychologist, a College and Career Counselling Program, and a designated Safeguarding Lead available on school days. All these committed staff members work as a team to ensure the safety and well-being of our boarders. Finally, our teachers are passionate about their subjects and are committed to inspiring each student in their care to excel and grow as internationally-minded individuals. Teachers have scheduled consultation times after school and are typically available for additional individual support.

We offer a wide range of after-school activities, sports, and clubs. EIS also competes in a local tournament of international schools in soccer, basketball, and volleyball, which is offered in three consecutive seasons during the school year. School clubs range from Ceramics and Art to Model UN to Drama, Drone Club, Cooking, and much more.

Besides, youth sports and extracurricular engagement in Latvia are not organized through schools but are based on specialized clubs and organizations subsidized by the government and local municipalities. Thus, there is a vast variety of affordable opportunities for involvement in sports, arts, music, etc., beyond School.

Exupery International School is located in Pinki, conveniently situated between the capital city, Riga, and the beach resort city of Jurmala. It is a quick 15-minute drive from both. It is also just 10 minutes from the Riga International Airport. The town of Pinki is a safe, clean, and welcoming place to live. There are many schools nestled among its beautifully landscaped parks, forests, playgrounds, and sporting areas, including the premium golf course created by a top global design firm. The Boarding House is part of the High School building, so our boarders have direct access to their classes and school life without the need to walk outside!
