'Four nights staying at school with three days at home enables a busy working week for you and your child with the benefits of quality family time at the weekend.'

1. A Global Atmosphere
As big as our world is, it’s getting smaller every day. EIS pupils are global citizens who enter a world where they need to be adaptable. Boarding at EIS provides the most diverse, global environment available before they enter University. Having classmates from all of over the world will not only help you understand other cultures, but connect you with future leaders around the globe.
2. Nurturing Teachers and Supportive Staff
Our EIS family-oriented boarding staff and dedicated pupil wellbeing teams provide 24/7 support and care to our boarder ensuring they always have somewhere to turn when they need it. These staff are supported by dedicated EIS tutors who provide guidance to pupils within the evening and weekends.
3. A More Independent You
Living away from home can pose its challenges but boarding at EIS provides and opportunity for our pupils to gain a greater sense of responsibility and independence beyond their years. Learning to manage your time, become a self-motivator, clean, cook and make new friends are aspects of life day students don’t learn until University.
4. Well-equipped and safe environment: labs, classes, school space
Modern technologies are integrated in daily life of Exupery Day Camp. 3D-printer, VR-zone, 3D-monitors, iMac-classroom, Windows-classroom, interactive smartboards. Everything you need to create digital products.
5. Fewer Distractions, More Studying
Taking your studies seriously is part of growing up and preparing for the independent learning environment you will attend when you go to University. Boarding at EIS provides that right balance of supportive study and FUN.
EIS boarding provides our pupils with access to boarding staff and tutors who support our boarders with their studies. We recognise that it is important to enjoy and relax during the week and weekend and our boarding tutors also run a programme of evening activities.
6. Friendships that Last a Lifetime
While there are many positive aspects to a boarding school education, one thing alumni tend to mention more than anything else is the people they meet and live with. Living within a boarding house with like-minded, highly motivated individuals who have similar goals and ambitions enables you to form strong bonds with classmates who may be from different backgrounds and countries from all over the world. These friendships often last long after you have graduated.
Health, Care and Support
The six resident house staff who are all members of our teaching staff are accommodated on each floor providing friendly support when required. They are supported by three Day matrons who lead our cleaning team in ensuring the boarding house is cleaned daily.
All of our staff are on hand to help and are always just a call away. Our balanced activity programme helps to ensure our boards maintain a positive and healthy lifestyle. The boarding staff work in collaboration with our school psychologist and school nurses who are in school daily. Our boarding staff are First Aid trained and when further support is required they can call on our medical staff. We understand that pupils can become unwell or may require a trip to the dentist, rest assured that our staff will arrange this and will accompany your child to any medical appointment.
At EIS we care about all members of our community. Healthy food is an important part of our daily life.
