Dr. Rhonda Fisher has worked as a university counselor for over 15 years, developing and leading programs at international schools in Latvia, Indonesia, Brazil, and Saudi Arabia. Before moving abroad in 2008, she taught at the college level across a range of institutions, including research universities, liberal arts colleges, and community colleges, an experience that gives her a grounded, practical understanding of what colleges are looking for in their applicants.
She holds a doctorate in sociology and has guided students from a wide variety of educational backgrounds and nationalities through the college application process. As a parent of five college-going children, she brings a personal familiarity with the process that informs her work with both students and families.
At the heart of Dr. Rhonda's approach is a commitment to knowing each student as an individual — their academic strengths, their interests, their hopes for the future, while also taking time to understand what parents envision for their child's next chapter. She believes the best college outcomes emerge when students, families, and university counselors are working from the same page, toward a goal that genuinely fits.
