University of Latvia, MA in Education sciences (currently undertaking).

My name is Valda Skubiņa. I am Nursery Homeroom Teacher. This will be my 2nd academic year at EIS.

MMI Preschool, Bangkok, Thailand;
Montessori International School, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

I am proud to see young learners grow and follow their talents and passions.

After work I like to travel, yoga, reading, arts, boardgames with friends.

To get up in the morning and go to school I tell myself... To think of things that I am grateful for....And where is my coffee?

When I was a child I wanted to become a doctor, a fashion designer.

I am learning from kids to be playful, be myself, and be fearless.

The school of the future is in nature with a sustainable lifestyle, and multicultural.
